The Rover Scout 1101 from Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) organised a team camp for the 2024/2025 session at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreation Park recently.
The activities included discussions on scouting basics, parades and leisure activities. New members of the KUPU SB Scouts participated in an ice-breaking session before being officially appointed as Rover Scouts during the Rover Scouts Appointment Ceremony.
The camp concluded with the presentation of epaulettes and certificates to 16 members of KUPU SB Rover Scout Team 1101.
KUPU SB Director of Core Knowledge Centre Haji Md Syahiran bin Haji Md Sofian was the guest of honour.
Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) Deputy Chief Commissioner Mohammad Arif bin Abdul Hadi and PPBND Brunei-Muara District Scout Commissioner Samsudin bin Haji Ahmad were also present. The camp aimed to build self-confidence among Scout members and promote values such as respect, discipline and cooperation. – Lyna Mohamad
