Ceremony to mark completion of works on religious hall

In conjunction with the Diamond Jubilee of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and as part of its community outreach project, a handover ceremony was organised by the RBAF to signify the completion of its Titian Amal project for the construction of a new room to perform funeral rites as well as renovation works at Hajah Aminah Religious Hall, Kampong Long Mayan, Tutong District yesterday.

Present at the ceremony was Commander of the RBAF Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat who officially handed over a mock key to Acting Village Head of Kampong Long Mayan Muhammad Eddy Sufian bin Abdullah, signifying the completion of the project.

The project focussed on constructing a new room for funeral rites and the renovation of the religious hall, including building a kitchen and multipurpose hall involving military personnel from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and residents of Kampong Long Mayan.

The Titian Amal is an annual project carried out in conjunction with the RBAF’s anniversary community outreach programme.
