The Community Leader Programme (Program Pemimpin Masyarakat) is a new initiative unveiled by the National Disaster Management Centre (NDMC) to strengthen the capabilities of community leaders in reducing the risks of disasters, said the centre’s director, Colonel (Rtd) Muhd Harrith Rashidi bin Haji Muhd Jamin.
He said this during the launch of the programme at CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre yesterday, attended by 30 penghulus and village heads.
“Participants will join knowledge exchange workshops and dialogue sessions to share opinions, experience and ideas,” he added. – James Kon
