MAJALAH MEKAR – TOP ESSAY
Muhammad Aniq Faris Rayyan bin Muhamad Eiruzan of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School (SASHHB), Kampong Rimba.
In his essay, ‘Berkhemah di Kampung Merangking, Kuala Belait’, Muhammad Aniq Faris Rayyan highlights the meaningful combination of outdoor adventure and life lessons.
He emphasised the importance of enjoying the adventure while also preserving and appreciating the environment, striking a balance between the value of outdoor learning and environmental stewardship.
MAJALAH JUARA PELAJAR – TOP ESSAY
Muhammad Harith Hakeem Riyadhuddin bin Roslan of SASHHB. Muhammad Harith Hakeem Riyadhuddin addressed a deeply resonant issue in ‘Kesihatan Mental di Kalangan Remaja’.
He shed light on the mental health challenges faced by today’s youth, exacerbated by academic pressures and social media.

Javien Chong Xian Wen of St Andrew’s School.

MAJALAH CINTA – TOP ESSAY
Nuriman Ainani Zahra binti Masemran of Beribi Telanai Primary School.
Nuriman Ainani Zahra’s ‘Kebaikan Melancong Dalam Negara’ celebrated cultural appreciation and natural identity of travelling within the country. She urged her peers to translate their love for domestic tourism as it helps citizens explore their country’s heritage, fostering pride and a stronger connection to their national identity.
These winning essays showcase the diverse talents and perspectives of Brunei’s youth.
Whether discussing the complexities of AI, advocating for mental health awareness, exploring cultural heritage, or promoting national pride, each essay reflects an understanding of the world and a commitment to making a positive impact.
The event also recognised the Best Participating School and the Best-Selling Magazine of the Year, celebrating not only the individual winners but the schools that encouraged and supported their students’ creativity.
The ceremony was enhanced by a performance by students from SASHHB, who performed Astaghfirullah, adding a cultural touch to the event.
