Seri Mulia Sarjana International School (SMSIS) celebrated Children’s Day recently.
SMSIS teachers and staff organised a day filled with engaging activities, games and entertainment.
The school held a story-telling contest for the lower primary and a spelling bee for the upper primary in a collaboration with the High Commission of Bangladesh in Brunei Darussalam.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Nahida Rahman Shumona presented the prizes.
The contests were designed to foster children’s learning abilities to express their ideas and emotions confidently while promoting enjoyable learning approach and improving general knowledge.
Children’s Day is celebrated at SMSIS as a platform to regard that every child is unique, precious and deserves love and support. It is a day that reinforces the school’s commitment to nurture young minds and guide them to a bright and promising future. – Rokiah Mahmud
