The Ministry of Education (MoE) yesterday held a festival at The Mall, Gadong to celebrate students who shone in this year’s cultural competitions.
Among them were nationwide champions of the Brunei Asli Dance Competition for Secondary Schools Nationwide – Sufri Bolkiah Secondary School; the Menambang Syair Competition for Secondary Schools – Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School; the Gulingtangan competition for Secondary Schools – Masin Secondary School; the Brunei Children’s Choir Competition for Primary Schools – Seri Mulia Sarjana School; the Brunei Ethnic Dance Competition for Primary Schools – Sultan Hashim Primary School; the Pantang Larang Orang Tua-Tua Sketch Competition for Primary Schools – Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School; and the Bermukun Competition for Primary Schools – Datu Ratna Haji Muhammad Jaafar Kiarong Primary School.
Present to give recognition to these winners was Acting Permanent Secretary (Core Education) at the MoE Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
