Catering to timepiece enthusiasts

The Empire Watches opened its doors to customers during a soft opening at the Ground Floor of The Centrepoint, Gadong from 10am to 3pm yesterday.

In an interview with the Bulletin, Empire Watches owner Ryan Wong said it is the company’s first physical store after operating on social media for three years.

The Empire Watches offers a range of various brands to cater to watch enthusiasts from new to seasoned collectors.

On how he began his venture into selling timepieces, Wong said it was due to his passion for watches, which gradually led him to starting a business three years ago.

“With the continuous support from our clients, the business slowly grew over time and eventually enabled us to open our first branch at The Centrepoint,” he said.

“At Empire Watches, we buy, sell, accept trade-ins and offer consignment services for a wide variety of brands and certain high-end luxury watch models,” said Wong, adding, “We hope to offer watches that enthusiasts and collectors have been anticipating for, especially brands that are not as accessible in the Sultanate.”
