Fifteen families received necessities as part of a two-day charity campaign organised by the Young Entrepreneurs Association Brunei (YEAB) in partnership with Progresif Sdn Bhd.
The necessities included food and grocery supplies to assist with Ramadhan obligations.
Companies who donated included the New Dawn Company, Indofood, Nexploit Services and Brunei Timber. Premier Motors Brunei provided transportation for the project.
Progresif’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sponsorship Coordinator Amilin Mat Sah said, “Progresif and its partners will continue to assist to provide relief to the community through its CSR. This donation drive would not only assist those in need, but also promote sedekah culture, particularly during the holy month of Ramadhan.”
Meanwhile, YEAB Vice President Louis Loo said, “YEAB is grateful for the support from our partners. It would not be smooth sailing without the contributions from them as well as
our members.”
The YEAB Ramadhan donation drive has been held annually since 2008 and is part of the association’s endeavour to engage its members in community work while promoting social awareness.
