Car wash operators in the Sultanate received a boost in business in the last few days with cars lining up to be cleaned before the turn of the new year.
One car wash operator in Batu Bersurat said, “Our staff washed 30 cars per day over the weekend.
“Some of the cars had just returned from a long journey to Kota Kinabalu or Miri and needed a good wash.”
He also noted that the busiest period is just before the Hari Raya celebration.
A visit to car wash operations in Gadong last Saturday also saw long queues of cars waiting to be cleaned with many not being able to accommodate more customers by the afternoon.
