Suzuki Brunei raised BND20,000 for the Chilren’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) through its Project Wishlist campaign, an initiative that brings dreams to life while making a powerful impact by supporting children fighting cancer.
The donation presentation was held yesterday following a lucky draw campaign where YASKA President Tsara’ Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen received the donation from senior management of Boustead Sdn Bhd and Suzuki Brunei.
The campaign, in which a portion of every car purchase and aftersales service is donated to YASKA, reflects Suzuki Brunei’s dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by blending business success with a strong commitment to giving back to the community.
As part of the campaign, lucky winners Pengiran Mohd Al-Azeem bin Pengiran Aliuddin won the grand prize valued at BND15,000, while Hajah Azizah binti Haji Moktar and Zaidin bin Murah won consolation prizes worth BND500 each.
The presentation was under the supervision of representatives from management teams of Baiduri Finance, BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad, and Insurance Islam TAIB.
Pengiran Mohd Al-Azeem shared, “I didn’t expect to win the grand prize. I was nervous when revealing the prize. I’d like to thank Suzuki Brunei for organising this campaign.”
He also shared that he was entitled to the draw because he traded his Suzuki Ertiga for a Suzuki Swift. – James Kon
