The three-day, two-night Legasi Generasi Camp (LGC) programme drew the participation of 23 youth members to the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex on Saturday.
Themed ‘Thrive’, LGC is a camp that instils vital spirituality as well as social knowledge such as family institution, mental health and self-development to provide participants with a deeper understanding and awareness on these issues.
The programme includes physical activities such as group sports and games, and spiritual activities including religious talks and mass Subuh prayer.
LGC serves as an intervention on mental health issues and promote the importance of mental healthcare among the youth.
The programme also provides exposure to current issues, self-development values and knowledge on the family institution.
LGC is a support system to encourage participants to leave their comfort zone to meet new people and build Ukhuwah (brotherhood).
