We would like to appeal to the authorities to consider re-opening the sea border to Labuan, Malaysia, amid the easing of measures in this endemic phase.
Unlike land borders, it is a lot easier to monitor the flow of visitors. There are paper trails that could help the authorities in both countries to contact trace, should the need arise. It would also serve as a good weekend getaway for those who cannot afford air travel.
