I was dropping my children off in school recently when it occurred to me that most car parks at public schools have no shelter.
The weather has been scorching hot lately, and I pity parents who have to sit in their cars and wait for their children to be let off school.
Maybe it is time for schools to start planting trees in their premises, to provide the much needed shelter for parents waiting to pick up their children.
