The civil service needs to keep up with the times by ensuring it to be innovative, efficient and ethical, said by Civil Service Institute (IPA) Director Dr Hajah Noor Maya binti Haji Mohamad Salleh in her welcoming speech during Customer Service Day at An-Najah Hall at the IPA recently.
Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Ajman bin Haji Meludin launched the Education and Development Programme Directory for 2023-2024.
Among the activities lined up for the event were consultations, briefing and exhibition involving several departments, private companies and government-linked companies (GLCs).
The IPA offers 58 programmes, including ICT and nine certification programmes from April 2023 to March 2024.
It is open to members of the civil service, private companies and GLCs.
The objectives of the event were to equip the civil servants with skills and competency towards an excellent organisation and forge networking with ministries, departments, private companies and GLCs.
The event was also attended by directors, officers and representatives of government departments, private companies and GLCs.
