The ICT Manpower Survey launched by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI), is aimed at gathering essential data on information communication technology (ICT) professionals from approximately 400 businesses in the country within the ICT and non -ICT sectors.
Launched by AITI, as the Secretariat for Manpower Industry Steering Committee Working Group for ICT Sector (MISC-WG ICT) supported by the Manpower Planning Office at the Prime Minister’s Office, last December 31, AITI intends to capture the current state of ICT professionals through this survey.
AITI also intends to capture the current state of ICT professionals, and use the data to guide jobseekers and businesses in determining employment requirements, skills development and training needs; industry priority areas; and future ICT manpower demand projections.
The survey has been distributed via email to selected recipients across the nation, with the deadline extended to April 30. AITI encourages registered businesses and business community members to support the initiative and participate in the survey.
Interested parties can request access to the survey and submit any enquiries via email or call AITI and have also deployed enumerators to assist businesses when required.
AITI is committed to maintain and ensure the confidentiality of all the data collected with all the responses will be used solely for the purpose of this study where the detailed information about the survey privacy policy can be found in the survey questionnaire. – Lyna Mohamad
