Over 80 members of Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) and guests attended a talk on ‘The Law and Business’ delivered by Dr Colin Ong QC at the Radisson Hotel in the capital yesterday.
The event was organised by BBBF and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in conjunction with the BBBF’s 20th anniversary celebration.
“We are honoured to have one of our distinguished executive committee members, Dr Ong, share his insights in this latest event organised by the BBBF. The talk focussing on the landscape of business and company law in Brunei is a critical aspect for any business to keep abreast on, especially with a rising focus on governance and compliance across the globe,” Chair of BBBF Siva Subramaniam said.
Dr Ong spoke on a wide range of business law topics ranging from commercial law, company law, contract law and investment law to dispute resolution including arbitration and gave practical examples and tips on what businesses should be aware of in their daily business
activities.
