Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer Pengiran Aki Ismasufian bin Pengiran Haji Ibrahim was appointed new Chair of Britain Brunei Business Forum (BBBF) recently.
The appointment was announced during BBBF’s 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) at Radisson Hotel in the capital on March 8.
Pengiran Aki Ismasufian said he was honoured to be chosen to lead the forum and looks forward to working with the committee members to further the group’s mission to support local and United Kingdom businesses.
Ambrose Nathan was re-appointed honorary treasurer while Miriam Wolber was appointed honorary secretary. Alina Malik, Manuel Bulens and Edmund Teo were elected committee members.
British High Commission in Brunei Darussalam’s 2nd Secretary (Political) Stephen Taylor was present on behalf of British High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam John Virgoe.
