SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Jimin from popular K-pop boyband BTS has introduced a new song titled “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” on Friday.
This track is part of his second solo album, “Muse,” which is set for release on July 19.
According to Big Hit Music, Jimin chose to collaborate with rapper Loco on this track, believing that Loco’s intricate rap style would complement the song well. The song’s title was a playful creation by Jimin for the team of producers, including Pdogg, Ghstloop, and Evan, who also worked on his first solo album “Face.”
“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” is described as a hip-hop track infused with a big band sound. The song’s composition involved contributions from producers Tommy Brown, Mr Franks, Pdogg, and Ghstloop, alongside Jimin.
Jimin’s forthcoming solo album “Muse,” which will be released on July 19, features a total of seven tracks: “Who,” “Rebirth (Intro),” “Interlude: Showtime,” “Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson),” “Be Mine,” “Closer Than This,” and “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band.”
