BTS’s Jimin shatters chart records

SEOUL (ANN/THE KOREA HERALD) – Jimin of BTS has taken the iTunes Top Songs chart by storm, claiming the top spot in all 119 regions with his solo track “Filter.”

This track is from the band’s fourth studio album, “Map of the Soul: 7,” released in February 2020. BTS made history as the first group to top the chart in all regions.

Jimin already has three other solo songs that achieved this feat: “Like Crazy,” “Closer Than This,” and “With You.” “Like Crazy,” the lead track from his first solo EP “Face,” debuted at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100, marking a milestone for K-pop musicians.

His latest solo release, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco),” has already topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 117 regions. This track is a pre-release from his upcoming second solo EP, “Muse,” set to be released on Friday.
