The first Puma concept store opened in the Sultanate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its premises in Taibah Nest Complex, Kiulap officiating the opening.
The collaboration between Puma and Arrowtech Sports symbolises the convergence of two industry leaders, united by a common passion for excellence and innovation in the world of sports.
Singapore High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Heng Aik Yeow and prominent businessmen attended the opening along with Arrowtech Sports’ general managers Lim Huu Yih, Pauline Lian, Lim Kian Liong and Lim Toh Yung.
The event featured activities such as motorsport simulation, exclusive Puma mural graphic for print product customisation, colouring stations for children and giveaways.
Print product customisation consists of mural graphics of local landmarks and contents with Puma signature shoes as well as animal that can be printed on Puma apparel.
“Puma, as an international brand, has been established for a long time. It has always brought quality products to the global market, especially lifestyle, running, football, motorsports and kids. There is a lot of history behind Puma,” said Arrowtech Sports general manager Lim Huu Yih.
For lifestyle, he said, “Puma has collaborations with Rihanna as well as K-pop group IVE, while for the running show, the brand introduced Nitro, which is an advanced foam technology providing responsive and light cushioning.
“Puma has also always been in the football scene with legendary Brazilian footballer Pele forever associated with the brand. Famous football Neymar Jr is also the face of Puma wearing the brand’s FUTURE. In terms of the motorsports range, Formula One (F1) and Puma recently agreed to a partnership that saw the sport and lifestyle brand produce F1 licenced apparel, footwear and accessories.”
The inauguration of the Puma store in the country marks a milestone for both the brand and sports enthusiasts in the region.
The retail outlet aims to offer an extensive range of Puma’s latest and most iconic collections, designed to inspire athletes and fashion-forward individuals.
