Brunei Darussalam’s computer hacking competition, Cyber Battle: Capture The Flag (CTF) is set to return on September 1.
The competition is hosted annually by local information technology (IT) security firm ITPSS Sdn Bhd.
“We’re excited to host Cyber Battle as part of this year’s Brunei Cyber Security Conference,” said Chief Executive Officer of ITPSS Shamsul Bahri Haji Kamis.
The events play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation of cybersecurity talent while fostering a strong cyber security community and ecosystem in the Sultanate to deal with challenges arising from cloud technologies, artificial intelligence and more complex technology supply chains, a release stated yesterday.
Cyber Battle challenges competitors to solve puzzles based on real-life scenarios in categories such as cryptography, exploitation, digital forensics, packet analysis, and web-based challenges.
