Bruneians Pakistan bound for business conference

More than 50 delegates from ASEAN member states, including the Sultanate with a five-member delegation are set to attend the ASEAN-Pakistan Business Opportunities Conference held in Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan until August 11.

The delegation, comprises National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD) members who departed on Sunday.

Present to send off the delegates were High Commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei Darussalam Major General (Rtd) Farhat Abbas Sani and his Deputy Head of Mission Ghulam Haider.

The delegates will interact with members of various trade bodies of Pakistan, officials of relevant ministries and attend B2B meetings.

The delegates will also have the opportunity to explore the Pakistani market to enhance trade cooperation between Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam. – Lyna Mohamad
