Bruneian seriously injured in Sarawak road mishap

Correction – The earlier version of this article said that a Bruneian was killed in the mishap. The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) later confirmed that the deceased was a Malaysian citizen.

A Malaysian man died while a Bruneian was seriously injured after their car fell off the bridge at Nanga Merit, Jalan Saban in Limbang, Sarawak, Malaysia on Monday, the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operation Centre confirmed.

The deceased, Para anak Jack, 51, was reportedly confirmed dead at the scene by health workers, and his body was handed over to the police for post-mortem.
 

The Bruneian passenger, Muhammad Azwan Mazlan Abdullah, 56, was reported to be seriously injured and is receiving treatment in hospital.
