Goh Chai Li who represented Brunei Darussalam at The World Youth Development Forum in Beijing recently, was the recipient of the ‘100 Excellence Action for Global Youth Development Award.’
Her visionary project ‘Career Discovery’ was selected as one of the 100 excellence actions.
Her project’s aim was to create new opportunities for Bruneian youth to explore more career possibilities.
Adapting to the growing demand for non-traditional jobs in future society, the project stimulates youth interest in exploring new career possibilities, enhancing their capacity for employment and helps spark thinking and take charge of the future.
This year’s central theme ‘Youth Strength for Solidarity and Innovation: Striving Together for Sustainable Development’ sets the tone for the forum dedicated to propel youth towards a brighter future.
The forum introduced 100 projects selected from 43 countries, primarily addressing the United Nations seven priority needs.
