Brunei wushu athletes head to Japan for world cup

Six national wushu athletes departed Brunei on October 22 to compete in the 3rd Taolu World Cup in Japan from October 26 and 27.

Brunei’s top female wushu athlete Basma Lachkar will compete in the Taijiquan event. Hosea Wong Zheng Yu will participate in both the Taijiquan and Taijijian events.

Majdurano Joel bin Majallah and Abel Wee Yuen Lim will represent Brunei in the Duilian event. Walid Lachkar will compete in Gunshu, while Adi Salihin will take part in Nandao and Nangun. – James Kon
