The Sultanate’s presence at Sabah International Expo 2023 (SIE 2023) garnered acclaim from judges, securing Best Pavilion award at the event held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from September 21 to 24.
The Brunei Pavilion, featuring 21 companies, effectively showcased their diverse range of products and services, serving as a platform for market validation and the exploration of potential export opportunities. The participation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) and the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.
The award was presented to DARe Head of Lead and Opportunity Management Division at DARe Cynthia Lim by Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sabah Chairman Datuk Lee Swi Heng.
The judging criteria encompassed innovation, customer engagement, product presentation, and branding excellence.
As Sabah’s premier trade fair, SIE 2023 drew participation from over 300 exhibitors representing 20 countries, underlining its significance on the regional trade and business landscape. – Lyna Mohamad
