Brunei university makes a mark at China competition

Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) emerged as the second runner-up in the Infant and Childcare and Education Skills Competition in Guiyang, China recently.

Representing the university was KUPU SB’s assistant lecturer at Faculty of Education Pengiran Siti Katijah binti Pengiran Sulaiman as team leader and students Siti Nursyakirah binti Mohd Arif and Hanis Haffizatul binti Hamid. The competition, from October 24 to 30, was held in conjunction with the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, a collaborative effort between Guiyang Preschool Education College in China and the Southeast Asian Regional Centre for Early Childhood Care, Education and Parenting.

Participating in the competition is a vital aspect of KUPU SB’s commitment to fostering students’ practical knowledge and skills in Early Childhood Education. – Rokiah Mahmud
