The Fitness Zone Brunei veteran basketball team (aged 60 and above) returned to the country with a second place finish at the recent 2023 Macau International Chinese Basketball Tournament.
The team comprising Goh Kim Tian, Ho Poh San, Soon Chin Long, Lim Ming Ann, Goh Kok Ann, Albert Chu Fook Kun, Lim Peng Kok, Ong Tze Keu, Ang Peng Chin and Ken Khoo won its opening game against Chengde Mountain Resort team from China with the score of 59-40.
However, the Brunei team couldn’t carry on the wining momentum to the second game and suffered a defeat on the hands of Macau team 56-36 to settle for second place. – James Kon
