Two Brunei students did the country proud when they excelled at the 13th ASEAN+3 Student Camp for the Gifted in Science held from December 17 to 23 in Seoul and Gyeonggi in South Korea.

The Ministry of Education, through the Centre for the Development of Gifted and Talented Education coordinated the participation of three Year 10 students in the programme organised by the ASEAN+3 Center for the Gifted in Science with the support of the ASEAN Secretariat.

The programme aims to bring together gifted students in science and technology and provide them with the opportunity to collaborate and showcase their skills in a challenging environment.

The programme, themed ‘Sustainable Science and the Role of Scientists’ this year, featured several activities and sessions including lectures and cross-country group presentations.

The participants also joined the National Festival for the Gifted in Science organised by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity and supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Gwacheon National Science Museum.
