Brunei Scouts leave for Sarawak Rover Moot

A contingent of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD), comprising 22 Rover Scouts and four Scout Adult Members, left for Sarawak on Thursday to attend the first Sarawak Rover Moot in Matang Camp, Kuching being held until July 4.

Brunei Darussalam Deputy Scout Commissioner Mohammad Arif bin Abdul Hadi handed over the flag to Contigent Chief Raeemah binti Awang during a send-off at Brunei International Airport.

Also in attendance at the send-off was International Commissioner Haji Abdul Manan bin Haji Abdul Latip, Public Relations Commissioner Muhammad Syahmi bin Halimshah, HQ Commissioner, Welfare and Community Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Ramli bin Abdul Hadis, scout commissioners, scout leaders and family members of the contingent.

The scouts are undergoing various programmes prepared by the Scouts Association of Malaysia, Sarawak State, including a seminar, Matang Warrior’s Trail Run, Serapi’s Challenge, social, cultural and environmental activities.
