The event was organised by United Overseas Bank (UOB) Brunei as part of UOB’s Connectivity initiatives for ASEAN.

The delegation from Sabah was led by the branch’s Vice-President Datuk Dexter Lau.

Meanwhile, president of CCC BSB Malcom Lim said in his remarks, “For the past three years, the COVID-19 pandemic saw numerous businesses affected.

“Due to the restriction on overseas travels, many business discussions were done online.

“I believe that the networking dinner organised by UOB Brunei will benefit our members and provide opportunities.”

UOB Brunei’s Country Head, Howard Low said, “ASEAN’s future is bright, with its fast-growing economies and robust fundamentals. That’s why we have been investing heavily in the region.

“We’ve built ourselves up to become the largest foreign bank in Malaysia, and have also established a known presence as the only Singapore bank in Brunei.”
