Brunei Darussalam yesterday announced one COVID-19 fatality recorded over the last 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced this in its daily report yesterday, adding that four cases are in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
Meanwhile, 605 cases made recoveries yesterday, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 212,393.
The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine stands at 81.4 per cent, while 54.7 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of the COVID-19 vaccine remained at 75.9 per cent, while 8.1 per cent of the populace have been administered the fourth dose.
