Brunei Darussalam yesterday registered a COVID-19 fatality while there are three cases placed under Category 4 requiring oxygen assistance and under close supervision.
The latest COVID-19 situation was announced by the Ministry of Health in its daily report yesterday.
Meanwhile, a total of 238 recoveries were recorded, bringing the national tally to 266,782.
The overall population that has received the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is at 11.5 per cent, while the coverage rate of the populace with three shots of the COVID-19 vaccine remained at 79 per cent.
Meanwhile, a total of 62.5 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
A total of 87.3 per cent of children aged five to 11 in the country have been inoculated with two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
