The Sultanate recorded a daily average of 171 new COVID-19 cases last week, compared to 162 in the previous week.
Some 14,433 ART results were uploaded to the BruHealth app last week, of which 8.2 per cent were positive.
This was shared by the Ministry of Health in its weekly report yesterday.
One hundred and sixty-three new cases were reported yesterday, of which 157 were derived from ARTs and six from RT-PCR laboratory tests performed in the past 24 hours.
There are two cases in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close supervision, while there are no cases in Category 5.
