Brunei Darussalam recorded the recovery of 620 COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the national tally of recoveries to 255,703.
Meanwhile, one COVID-19 case recorded in Category 5 requires intensive care treatment while two cases in Category 4 require respiratory assistance and close monitoring. These details were shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.
The overall population with the fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine is at 11.3 per cent while the coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine remains at 78.9 per cent.
A total of 62.1 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 in the Sultanate have received three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while children aged five to 11 with two shots of the vaccine remains at 86.8 per cent.
