Brunei records 544 new cases, no COVID patients in ICU

Brunei Darussalam recorded 544 new COVID-19 cases yesterday – 490 from ART results uploaded to the BruHealth App and 54 from 1,663 RT-PCT laboratory tests performed in the past 24 hours – bringing the total number of cases in the country to 135,974 said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar during a press conference yesterday.

The number of active cases stand at 3,777 cases, with 68 in hospitals and 3,709 undergoing home self-isolation, said the minister.

The minister said 887 cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 131,984.

Meanwhile, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham said as of Saturday, 61.9 per cent of the population had received third dose of the vaccine under the National COVID-19  Vaccination Programme.
