Brunei receives postal award

Brunei Darussalam is one of the 22 winners out of 174 Express Mail Service (EMS) Cooperative members competing for EMS Customer Care Award 2022 and the award presentation was held at the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Bureau in Berne, Switzerland on 27 April 2023.

Acting Postmaster General Dr Rosdi bin Haji Abdul Aziz received the award on behalf of the Sultanate.

The award was presented during the EMS Cooperative General Assembly at the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Bureau in Berne, Switzerland by UPU Director General Masahiko Metoki and EMS Cooperative Chair Patrick Richon.

The annual award event recognises postal operators demonstrating excellence in delivering EMS services, particularly in providing high quality customer service.

EMS Cooperative is a body under UPU with members made up of postal operators worldwide working together to improve the quality and efficiency of the international EMS network.

Brunei’s Postal Services Department has been a member of UPU and EMS Cooperative since 1984.
