Brunei players recover from COVID-19

Two Brunei Darussalam’s under-23 national team players who are in Cambodia for the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Under-23 Championship have recovered from COVID-19, the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) said in a statement on Monday.

The players were released on Monday night and transferred to the bubble hotel. The latest report brings the number of active cases to one, who is recovering well at the COVID-19 Care Centre. The recovered cases were confirmed through the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.

The national football governing body added that all other officials and players have tested negative from COVID-19 through the routine antigen rapid test (ART). They are staying at the same bubble hotel.
