Brunei-Oman school exchange participants receive certificates

Teachers and students who participated in the Cultural and Education Exchange Programme between Oman and Brunei Darussalam were presented with certificates in a hybrid ceremony yesterday.

Local students and teachers were feted at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), while Omani teachers and students held a similar ceremony in Oman, shared via an online platform.

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Policy and Religious) at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang was the guest of honour at the local ceremony. Around 39 teachers and students participated in the exchange programme.

Haji Mohd Serudin highlighted that the good relations between both Sultanates are further strengthened through the exchange programme, helping to increase the ability of teachers and students in promoting Arabic in both oral and written culture and the exchange of languages

Chargé d’Affaires of the Omani Embassy in Brunei Darussalam Sultan Mohd Azri was also present.
