Brunei Darussalam’s obstacle race athletes were ranked sixth in the men’s team relay during the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) at the Chroy Changvar International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh, Cambodia yesterday.
The men’s relay team comprises Hasnal Husna bin Ahmad, Muhammad Adid bin Abdul Kadir, Awangku Muhd Nur’Nazirul Mubin bin Pengiran Roslan, Azizil Anwar bin Rosli and Awangku Muhammad Habibullah bin Pengiran Haji Jufri.
Brunei’s best performance came in the first run when they clocked a time of 39.0979, putting them fifth ahead of Cambodia.
Despite the team recorded an improved time of 30.3267, Cambodia had a better timing, which subsequently puts the team below their rivals. The top nations are Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Laos.
