Brunei MYCE 2022 ends on high note

The Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition 2022 (Brunei MYCE 2022) rolled down its curtains after a month at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas yesterday.

Brunei MYCE 2022 focussed on events including conferences, seminars, forums, symposium, workshops as well as exhibitions, product expos and related services under the weekly main theme – Islamic, Digital Technology, Energy, Climate Action and Economy.

This is the second year it has been carried out involving participation from strategic partners such as the Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office; Ministry of Finance and Economy; Ministry of Development; Ministry of Religious Affairs; Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications along with local universities, government agencies, statutory bodies, private agencies and companies.

The event was also supported by Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST) as official Telco partner; Radio Television Brunei (RTB), Information Department (Pelita Brunei) and Brunei Press Sdn Bhd as media partners; and D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd as event management.

Brunei MYCE 2022 was an initiative of the Tourism Development Department under the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism serving as a platform to invite or attract Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE), especially business travellers to the Sultanate.

Themed ‘Brunei Darussalam Perspective – Inclusive Economic Development, Sustainable and Resilience’, the event aimed to generate and forge networks and business among policymakers, scholars and local and foreign entrepreneurs who contribute to the country’s growth.
