The Ashabul Halim Youth Club of Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque in collaboration with the Brunei-Muara District Scouts Association distributed bubur kacang to mosques and the public around the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) headquarters premises yesterday.
The charity initiative was carried out in celebration of Maulidur Rasul.
Scout members from across the Brunei-Muara District prepared 500 packs of bubur kacang at PPNBD’s religious hall.
Brunei-Muara Scouts Commissioner Skip Samsuddin bin Haji Ahmad and Imam of Kampong Katok/Tungku Gadong Mosque Morni bin Nayan attended.
Also present were Chairman of Ashabul Halim Youth Club Haji Mohd Hamid bin Haji Jamaluddin and scout members from all four districts.
Aside from the public, the bubur kacang was also distributed to Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque, Ash Shaliheen Mosque, Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque, Kampong Pulaie Mosque, Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque and the Gadong Police Surau.
