State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned on Thursday received a courtesy call from the Mufti of Malaysia’s Federal Territories Sahibus Samahah Associate Professor Datuk Dr Luqman bin Haji Abdullah. He is in the country attending the Knowledge Convention 2023 to mark His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 77th birthday.
The courtesy call was held at Darulifta at the State Mufti’s Office.
Deputy State Mufti Haji Jamali bin Mohd Adnan and Assistant Mufti (Support Services) Ahmad Syaiful Azmi Mohd Noor were also present. Also in attendance were Assistant State Mufti (‘Ifta) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Dennie bin Haji Abdullah and Acting Director of Administration at State Awang Haji Saiful Nizam bin Haji Sulaiman. – Azlan Othman
