    Brunei logs 368 new local COVID cases

    Brunei Darussalam recorded 368 local COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18,152.

    One case in Category 4, requiring oxygen assistance, is currently receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at a press conference yesterday, adding that there are no cases in Category 5.

    A total of 23 cases recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 16,178, and the total active cases at 1,872. The bed occupancy rate in isolation centres nationwide is 26.3 per cent.

    Meanwhile, Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham also shared that 94.9 per cent of the population have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 94 per cent have completed the primary vaccination protocol, while 42.4 per cent of the populace have been boosted against the coronavirus.
