Brunei logs 2,012 new COVID cases

The Sultanate on Tuesday recorded 2,012 COVID-19 cases, of which 2,001 cases are results of the antigen rapid testing and 11 cases from 244 RT-PCR laboratory tests conducted in the past 24 hours. No COVID-19 fatality was reported in the past 24 hours.

This was said by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at a press conference yesterday.

Brunei’s COVID-19 cases continued to spike last week with the average daily rate of infection at 1,667 cases. A total of 65,240 ART results were uploaded to the BruHealth app in the week of which 17.8 per cent were positive results.
