Brunei-Kuwait ties strengthened further

The Embassy of Kuwait in Brunei Darussalam held a dinner reception to commemorate the 63rd Independence Day and 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day of State of Kuwait at the Royal Berkshire Hall of the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club yesterday.

Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, the guest of honour, was welcomed by Ambassador of Kuwait to Brunei Darussalam Salah Mubarak Musleh Al-Mutairi upon arrival.

The event began with the singing of the national anthems of Brunei Darussalam and Kuwait.

This was followed by a presentation of memento and a cake-cutting ceremony by the minister, envoy and ambassadors of the Gulf Countries Cooperation. – James Kon
