The Brunei History Centre held a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to mark its 41st anniversary at Kampong Masin Mosque yesterday.
The ceremony, organised in collaboration with the Kampong Masin Mosque Takmir Committee and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), was attended by Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the MCYS Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan as the guest of honour.
It began with a mass Asar prayer followed by the recitation of Surah Yaasiin,Tahlil, and Doa Kesyukuran.
It proceeded with the presentation of waqaf by the guest of honour to the mosque.
The ceremony was aimed at expressing gratitude on the 41 years of establishment of the centre and to support the concept of Zikir Nation.
