Brunei Darussalam has the potential for medical tourism as an industry which can contribute to the country’s economy.
Minister of Health Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar said this in response to a suggestion from Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim to promote and develop Brunei as a medical tourism destination during Tuesday’s LegCo session.
