HiTune Group of Companies and YAKIN Football League have stretched their reach to Sarawak with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the ‘Yakin Madani Futsal League 2024’ in Miri.
The MoU establishes HiTune Group of Companies and YAKIN Football League as premium sponsors, with support from Quaxa Sport, while Kelab Rekreasi Wira Jaya Miri was appointed the main coordinator of the event.
“We are honoured to be selected as premium sponsors. Our involvement goes beyond supporting the sport, as it reflects our commitment to advancing sports development in Sarawak, particularly in Miri,” said HiTune Group of Companies and YAKIN Football League Managing Director Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang during the signing ceremony at a hotel in Miri yesterday.
Pengiran Zamri is confident the sponsorship will boost the popularity of futsal and strengthen HiTune Group’s partnership with stakeholders in Sarawak. “This tournament provides an opportunity for futsal players in Miri to showcase their skills and helps to foster stronger community ties,” he added.
Miri Member of Parliament Chiew Choo Man witnessed the signing of the MoU between HiTune Group of Companies, YAKIN Football League and Kelab Rekreasi Wira Jaya Miri.
Signing on behalf of HiTune Group of Companies and YAKIN Football League were Pengiran Zamri and Chief Executive Officer Herna Nur Imani binti Muhd Jeffrey. Kelab Rekreasi Wira Jaya Miri was represented by its chairman Mohd Noor Amin bin Bungsu and Secretary Mohd Arizal bin Djamulludin, while Quaxa Sport was represented by operations manager Tracyla bin Jambori and Darren Kong Pang Yu.
The ‘Yakin Madani Futsal League 2024’ will begin on October 26, featuring eight top futsal teams from Miri. – Azlan Othman
