The first container export of Bruneian-made products to Mustafa Centre, Singapore was sent off at Muara Port on September 26.
The 20-foot container filled with Bruneian goods became available on the shelves of Mustafa Centre from October 17.
High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Singapore Dato Paduka Haji Sidek bin Ali visited Mustafa Centre alongside Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) Director of Enterprise Development Norlela Suhailee on October 21.
They were welcomed by Mohamed Mustafa and Shamsuddin Company Pte Ltd, Singapore Managing Director Mustaq Ahmad.
The presence of Brunei products at the Mustafa Centre is testament to the commitment of Brunei and Singapore in fostering economic collaboration and highlighting the exceptional quality of Bruneian products in the Singaporean market. It also represents a significant step forward in the continued growth and partnership between Brunei and Singapore, as well as the international recognition of Bruneian-made products.
The collaboration between Mustafa Centre and Bruneian exporters signifies the dedication to promoting high-quality Bruneian products on a global scale.
Among the Bruneian products featured on Mustafa Centre’s shelves are Bruneihalalfoods crackers and vegetable cooking oil, Marimin prawn crackers, Cinta chilli sauce, Sabli’s teh tarik and Taurean Bakeshop and Café’s handmade cookies.
The Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) through DARe continues to collaborate with the ministries, agencies and overseas counterparts to facilitate export of Brunei products. This is aimed to expand and diversify market opportunities for local producers and contribute to the nation’s long-term economic growth through increased productivity and greater output.
